Despite feeling guilt and sadness and a bit of confusion around going into my second week without meaningful communication with my wife, I realize that I have to stay the course.
Continuing the outburst-apology-internalize cycle would be a huge mistake. I have reasons for doing what I've set out to do. Namely, to stop getting marginalized and depriortized by my wife. I can't just say, "sorry for being mean, pls forgive me??"
That would be a bigger mistake than the way i've been shut down lately.
