The Journey Begins in Ernest

Amazingly and wonderfully, my wife agreed that we should fly out to LA to attend a RE Wealth Expo. I was amazed because A) she is a pretty skeptical person and doesn’t usually respond to sales pitches from info-mercials, and B) she agreed to take time from her busy schedule and spend money to take the trip.

Here’s the sales blurb from the site: Whether it's $5k, $50k or $5 million, Real Estate investing is your answer! Real Estate investing provides the highest returns, the greatest values and the least risk. Virtually every great fortune in the U.S. was made by property investors and federal, state and local tax laws ensure that this trend will continue. There has never been a more complete, comprehensive and intensive Real Estate training course. Our real estate seminars will change your financial future nearly overnight!

We have the ultimate Real Estate investing tips. One piece of advice can make you thousands.

And you know what? It was amazing. The basic format involved sitting in a vast room of thousands of ppl watching the speakers and their presentations. I think we saw about 12 in all. Tax and legal protection; real estate investing and management; and stock investment were covered. My wife and I took notes feverishly and decided to buy training and access to Investools.com, which is a web application designed to provide detailed info on stocks.

We came away from the two-day event kinda blown away, and resolving to take a different path in our lives. The path toward riches.

Since we approach life differently, I expect that we’ll approach this very differently, too. Unless, of course, we can recogize that our differences can complement one another. With the awareness of that, we can be an investing powerhouse and have a stronger marriage in the process.

It’s time to make an agreement. . .
