Work of Worry

During a recent, very boring meeting, I took a few mintues to write down what I thought about myself, through the lenses of my superiors:

1. Negotiates with "weakness" v. not being tolerant of it.
2. Accepts limitations, which triggers passive/aggressive behavior, mostly evidenced by flaming superiors
- this ties into not getting consensus in the right way. Essentially tries to drive consensus around limitations, not around dreams.
3. Uses personal issues/feelings as barometer for decisions
4. Doesnt examine personal bias, work habits, and his internal conflicts
5. Doesnt devote enough time to the details.

Essentially, this is a set of legacy beliefs from my childhood based on my subscribing to the comfort zone of the 'prison' in which i was raised.

I would add another observation that I dont have clear intentions about my future. As a released 'inmate' I often feel lost.

Immediately obvious is the 'do the exact opposite' advice. Being in this job is like 'boot camp' to essentially grow up and take responsibility for myself.

But the commitment i referenced earlier has more to do with inspiration and love and wisdom. .
