I've not be lifting weights as I would have liked, but I am actually showing up every day to do 35 min on the elliptical - burning 350 calories. Today, I did it in a shorter time because I was able to more aggressively up the resistance and burn more like 13 cal/min versus my normal 11 or so. 

I do need to hit the weights, however. It really feels great to feel my stomach shrinking and arms and chest and legs getting slightly firmer. It reminds me of my 35yr old body, which as far as I can tell was my best.
