Religelous

I've long struggled with the idea that most religions ask one to deny logic, intellectual curiosity and thoughtful investigation about life.

The Bill Marr movie, Religelous helped me to firmly stand inside the fact that religeon is simply conforming to someone else's interpretations. Yet, it doesnt make sense to kill the idea of relegon all together. And it doesnt make sense to me to deny the idea that there is a greater design and intelligence that is worth investigating, honoring, and being accountable to.

Spirituality is a constant investigation. It is a personal journey, however, which opens up the rightful opportunity for moral choices and knowing oneself.

Understanding oneself solely through another's context is way too limiting. it's suffocating, actually, because no one person can define all of humanity.

It was soooo crazy of me to think that becoming a follower of any one person or religion. no one person can define all of humanity.
