It's been kind of a wild 40 days or so and I've been off my Daily Drill due to the preparation for the move, the move, and the unpacking and getting settled from the move.
My job hunt continues to be very difficult, because it isnt yeilding any significant intel. There's no clear path toward being successful / making money, at this point - more on that later.
Anyway, I'm taking another look at my priorities given all that I've experienced recently and I now see that I essentially have just TWO groups of them: ME and MY RELATIONSHIPS. See below:
1. Me as a resource
- Int – continual understanding of my identity + development of my strengths/weaknesses + intel about culture, economy
- Phy – meds/vitamins, exercise
- Emo – be in the zone, mediation
- SPIR – still unsure about this, but continuing my informal/repeated questioning
- Fin – setting the right example of living w/in means while looking for ways to make money [work, investment, savings]
- My Marriage: creating a “partnership of opposites” within a best practices context.
- My Family: being thoughtful/considerate, present and accessible
- My Friends: being thoughtful/considerate, present and accessible
- My Career: being thoughtful/considerate, present and accessible, AND DELIVERING THE GOODS, per executive best practices.
Anyway, the above seems much cleaner and simpler and based on the reading/researching that I've been doing, it lends itself to essentially two basic rules - one for each priority set - that I could eventually live my life by.
