Boiling It Down

My strengths:

  • Intuition, vision
  • Empathy, connecting, relating / relationship-building, mentorship
  • Researching; absorbing LOTS of information
  • Architecting structures, systems
  • Collaboration and brainstorming
  • Loves a challenge
My weaknesses:
  • Lost in my own head, believing my own assumptions (which occur so quickly that I dont realize I'm assuming)
  • Alienating / alienated
  • Poor consistency and follow-through, unless pushed from outside
  • Bored when not challenged.
  • Despairing when not relating, ideating, learning, growing, connecting. Then, see above.
So, it's simple. Create a life that leverages my strengths while working on my weaknesses in a way that acknowledges them as such. That means I'll never "major" in follow-through, or dogged discipline, but I can know enough about how to do those things to ensure they get done. To ensure I'm not helplessly dependent on others. To basically nearly eliminate my weaknesses as a blind spot.
