Reciprocity and My Career

I am starting to realize the tug-of-war that I've created in my job selection and career is the central issue of my forward progress right now.

1. I am used to pandering to hiring managers, so I'll get hired
2. I have been unfamiliar with what my needs are, or what is realistic, now or over time.
3. I get hired, learn a lot, but also get miserable, due to the fact that my needs aren't being met, so I move on or get fired. 
4. Learning about reciprocity will help me to go into situations with a win-win perspective, which i think will be more productive.
