what I learned in 2011

1. dont just be selectively empathetic, but really engage and listen
2. have a clearly thought-through structure; communicate that to all involved. Dont just do seat of the pants intuitive process. Gen Ys hate that, and so do superiors.
3. Be mindful of the things you see going wrong and play those out as if they were a crisis
4. relationships are everyting
5. i have ptsd and suffer from anxiety as a result
6. i have no relationship with myself/ I engage in lots of "surrogate" behavior that 
7. my respect for enlightennext, Andrew Cohen, and his core students are almost nill
