Kennedy Values

Watching the memorial tributes to Edward M. Kennedy and the contextual commentary on the Kennedy family...

Here are my notes on what the Kennedy "Brand" appears to be:

- have a lot of fun, great parties
- stay connected to a HUGE number of people, be thoughtful and deliver positive surprises
- have a professional mission - stand for something larger than life, altruistic, bold and glamorous
- have a fun activity that everyone can participate in, that's out of the ordinary/ glamorous (only fit ppl can play football well.)
- be eloquent about your mission
- be tough with adversaries, but also be generous with those same ppl to keep things from devolving into a full-on fight.
- do great things, but dont publicize them
- do great things and let other publicize them.
- dont ask for a favor until you've given out a LOT of them first.
